Terms and Conditions

Transfer of Custody and Responsibility:

Effective on the transfer date, full custody, care, control, and responsibility for the above-mentioned animal is transferred from the Transferring Organization to the Receiving Organization.

The Receiving Organization agrees to:

Assume full responsibility for the animal’s care, housing, medical treatment, and placement
Make all future decisions regarding adoption, foster, transfer, or humane outcome

Ownership and Adoption Authority:

Upon execution of this Agreement, the Receiving Organization becomes the acting legal custodian of the animal and has full authority to place the animal for adoption, foster, or further transfer in accordance with their policies and applicable laws.

Liability Release:

The Transferring Organization releases and holds harmless the Receiving Organization from any known or unknown claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the animal’s condition or history prior to the transfer date.

Likewise, the Receiving Organization agrees that the Transferring Organization shall not be held liable for any incidents, damages, or expenses incurred after the transfer date.
